Guide – All characters in Fire Emblem: Three Houses

The latest installment in the long-running Fire Emblem series, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, has a wide cast of characters. The game takes place at the “Garreg Mach Monastery” and features three different school “houses” (as the name would imply): the Black Eagles, Blue Lions, and Golden Deer. Over the course of the game, main character Byleth will choose to become a professor for one of the three houses, and the different characters in that house will compose the player’s squad in battle — but that isn’t to say characters from other houses won’t be playable, as well! Almost every character from the three houses and Garreg Mach Monastery can be recruited into your party.

Byleth is the main character and protagonist of Fire Emblem: Three Houses. The player isn’t stuck with the name “Byleth” — it can be changed, and Byleth can either be male or female. Like other characters in the game, Byleth’s Class can be changed to whatever the player desires. Byleth is referred to as “Professor” in the game and grew up among a group of mercenaries led by their father, Jeralt Eisner.

She was once a mercenary but joined the Knights to repay Rhea for past debts. She is 25-years old and voiced by Allegra Clark. Shamir can be recruited into the player’s party regardless of their house choice after Chapter 6. The only requirement for recruiting her is that Byleth needs to be at least Level 15.
