VIZ Media kicked off Day 1 of Anime Expo with a panel filled with announcements. Among news of manga, art books, anime, and more, key members from Powerhouse Animation were invited onstage to discuss Castlevania and their new show “Seis Manos”.

Powerhouse Animation’s adaptation of Castlevania as a gorgeous and gory “anime” has been just one way in which love for the series has been kept alive in recent years, and it looks to be going strong into a third season. Plus, its presence on Netflix has brought new viewers and fans to the franchise, and garnered enough views that the once streaming-only show now has physical media releases. We saw VIZ Media release the first season on Blu-ray last December, and now they’ll be bringing the second season to our media collections.
