It’s a sad but simple fact that Splatfests can’t run forever. Nintendo’s been shedding various aspects of its post-launch support for Splatoon 2, and with the announcement of the next theme they’ve reminded us of that fact. No crying ’til the end though, as this next one’s the stuff dreams are made of:

Behold, the majestic unicorn and all its pastel powers! Marvel at the aquatic splendor that is the narwhal! Shudder at the very thought of having to pick just one! If this one’s a tough decision for you, then just remember: the final Splatfest of Splatoon Wii U put Callie and Marie up against each other, and Off the Hook have yet to step into the Splatfest ring themselves. Let that one sink in while you follow your heart and horn to the Unicorn vs. Narwhal Splatfest next weekend.
