Despite launching back in 2016, Pokémon GO is still a big deal, and it’s spawned its fair share of imitators, from Niantic’s own Harry Potter variant to the recently announced Minecraft Earth. Now, the popular Dragon Quest series is joining in on the AR fun with Dragon Quest Walk.

In the mostly cinematic trailer below we see a bunch of iconic monsters exploring the real world, but the very end shows some gameplay, with a King Slime popping up on a map and then being battled by a team of four heroes.

The official website also has more screenshots and details, confirming things like landmarks on the world map and customizable housing.

The main series is still going, though, with Square Enix also confirming Dragon Quest XII is in the early stages of development. As Siliconera translates:

“By the way, about the series development concerning Dragon Quest XII, which I’m sure you’re all wondering about—Horii-san (Yuji Horii) and I are currently making preparations, and while I believe it’ll still be a while, I’d to make some kind of announcement for it, so please wait a little longer for now.”

Dragon Quest Walk will launch for iOS and Android in Japan sometime this year.
