It’s been more than 20 years since Final Fantasy VII arrived on the PlayStation, and even after all these years, the game remains a phenomenon in the video game world. While nearly everything about the title was ahead of its time, it was the music that really took it to a new level. Arranged by legendary Final Fantasy composer Nobuo Uematsu, Final Fantasy VII’s soundtrack captured the raw emotion of the game’s story in a way that still captivates fans — including myself — to this day.

In celebration of the Final Fantasy VII’s upcoming remake, Square Enix is kicking off E3 with a fully orchestrated concert on June 9th at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, California, which will celebrate not only the game itself, but spinoffs like Dirge of Cerberus, Crisis Core, and Advent Children.

To get you excited for the event, Square Enix has just released a brand new trailer, highlighting the show’s offerings to the tune of “One Winged Angel.” If you’re in the area, you can pick up tickets to the one-time show at Ticketmaster.
