Hunting down mythical and Legendary Pokémon in Pokémon GO involves skill, luck, timing, and perseverance. Add the quest of trying to catch Shiny variations and it can become even more stressful.

Altering the Raid pool for five-star Raid Battles, two of Hoenn’s and one of Sinnoh’s Legendary Pokémon will be reappearing this summer. Available on a rotating basis, Niantic announced the following Pokémon and the dates for which they’ll appear:

  • Cresselia: Monday, May 27th at 1 PM to Tuesday, June 18th at 1 PM.
  • Kyogre: Tuesday, June 18th at 1 PM to Thursday, June 27th at 1 PM.
  • Groudon: Thursday, June 27th at 1 PM to Wednesday, July 10th at 1 PM.

All three Legendaries have a chance of being Shiny once defeated in a Raid. As for successfully catching them? It’s definitely time to stock up on Golden Razz Berries — and make sure to perfect your Poké Ball throws!
