Bandai Namco’s “Tales of” series is one of the most well known JRPG franchises out there, with next year marking its 25th anniversary. Even though it’s been a while since the last mainline entry in the series, 2016’s Tales of Berseria, it’s still going strong in terms of sales, as Bandai Namco has confirmed that it’s surpassed the 20 million units sold mark (via Siliconera).

To celebrate, three Tales games are on sale via Steam – Symphonia, Zestiria, and Berseria. A wallpaper and some user icons are also available for download, and Japanese fans who tweet out their memories of the series with the hashtag ♯テイルズオブメモリー have the chance of winning a Tales of Festival 2019 pamphlet signed by several voice actors.

Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition is also going to be on sale at certain points, though only the Steam and Xbox One versions have times listed at the moment.

With a new console entry in development, it’s looking likely that we’ll see an announcement either at E3 or at the aforementioned Tales of Festival a few days later on June 15th. Here’s hoping it heads to Switch, too!

Whether it’s an exciting new entry in a series long established or a weird experiment meant only for the dedicated, Tom is eager to report on it. Rest assured, if Nintendo ever announces Elite Beat Agents 2, he’ll be there.
