Last night’s surprise upload of a supposed leaked version of Pokémon: Detective Pikachu was something that we, the fandom, did not know we needed. Less than 24 hours since its release and signal boosting (thanks to Ryan Reynolds and official Detective Pikachu social media channels), the video has just crossed the 7 million views mile mark.

Quick to be GIF’d, we have now moved onto the next phase of this masterpiece. When you have over an hour of footage featuring a dancing Pikachu, what does one do? Meme it forever.

K-pop, J-pop and J-rock, theme songs, “Gangsta’s Paradise” (a nod to the Sonic the Hedgehog movie trailer), “Never Gonna Give You Up” — and more. Digging through Twitter, here are a few to inspire you to make one, too:

 

 
This is quickly turning into an amazing joke, ultimately due to Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele. Whoever thought of this animation behind the scenes may have been testing out Detective Pikachu’s model and rigging by recreating part of the comedic duo’s “Aerobics Meltdown” skit.
