An extension of the Nintendo Wire team is living in Japan right now, and we’re happy to report that she’s ventured over to the Pokémon Center in Ikebukuro to capture displays dedicated to this year’s beautiful Easter collection. The 2019 series features the usual characters — Pikachu and Eevee — along a trio of newbies. That’s right: Plusle, Minun, and Buneary are also joining the springtime party!

Per usual with this annual product theme, the store is currently chock-full of items featuring the flowery goods. From floor to ceiling, you’ll find an array of items like plushes, pouches, keychains, mystery capsules, stickers, and more.

Everyone here at Nintendo Wire wants to bring a little bit of Japan to you this spring. We can’t all make it there ourselves, so why not take a trip through our photo gallery to get a feel for the summery season yourself?

Designer and writer by day, gamer by night, Lauren dreams big when it comes to creative endeavors. Perhaps that's why she's taken on the roles of creative director and managing editor for Nintendo Wire. If she had a video game superhero alias, it might just be The Visionary, a true keeper of imaginative order.
