If you live in Japan and are into retro JRPGs, here’s an opportunity for you. Square Enix is currently accepting applicants for a demo of the upcoming Octopath Traveler: Champion of the Continent mobile game. Similar to their demo for the original Octopath Traveler, the company is asking for feedback from fans to help shape the game into a better experience.

Applications are open until March 17th JST, and the demo will be running from March 26th to April 2nd. There are only 1,600 spots, so it’s a very limited demo. No word on whether this will come West, though it seems nigh-impossible since it’s meant for feedback and criticism, and if the game were to be localized it would likely be some time after a Japanese release. We’ll keep you posted on any Octopath news as it comes in.
