A new trailer for the upcoming Pokémon-meets-the-real-world movie, Pokémon: Detective Pikachu, has dropped, providing the world with its first look at photorealistic Lickitung and Growlithe.

The trailer rehashes plenty of scenes already shown before, as well as Pokémon like Charizard and Mr. Mime, but includes a handful of new ones (and confirmation that France exists alongside Kalos, apparently).

Lickitung appears at 0:13, with Growlithe a few frames after when Detective Pikachu spits out his coffee.

Pokémon: Detective Pikachu is set for release in the U.S. on May 10th, 2019.

What’re your thoughts? Did Lickitung live up to your (presumably) sky-high expectations? Will you be seeing the film when it drops? Let us know in the comments below!
