I never stopped and thought about just how many Pokémon were pink until now. Plenty of Normal-, Fairy-, and Psychic-types take up shades from soft pastels to eye-blistering hot and for Valentine’s Day this year — and Pokémon GO is bringing them to you. The next event for the mobile game has been announced, and it’s all about rosy hues.

Pink Pokémon will be more common in the wild, with the likes of Clefairy, Hoppip, and Luvdisc name-dropped specifically. Likewise, hatch rates will get a bit warmer, with pink picks like Smoochum coming out of 7km eggs more frequently. Lastly, Raids will see Chansey, Porygon, and others up for grabs to tempt Trainers out into the field.

A few other bonuses will be upped during the event as well. Lures will last six hours the whole event through, and catch candy is doubled. There are even reports of Spinda with heart patterns coming via quests! It’s a week-long lovefest where everyone will be seeing pink by the end. Go for broke when you take your dates out on the town from now all the way to the 21st.
