Some Pokémon deserve more love. If you’re mostly a fan of Gen I or starter ‘mon at any point, then move along — because today’s all about an unsung cutie from Gold & Silver (aka, the best pocket monsters) that more than likely got boxed before the second gym. I speak of Furret, the Pokémon that’s 5% limb, 5% face, 90% tail, and 100% lovable.

Just look at that perfection, that simple yet almost hypnotic ring pattern. You can’t say no to this Normal-type, not when the other option is giving it a hug for the foreseeable future. That’s plenty of time to gather up fan art, load up a Gen II game, catch a Furret, and make it your new favorite.
