Get ready to steal hearts, reach out to the truth, and cause some mass destruction, as Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth has been confirmed for a 3DS release in the west!

Best of all, Europe won’t have to wait this time, as both it and North America will receive the dungeon crawling RPG on the same date – June 4th! Check out the opening cinematic below:

The game will also be getting a “Showtime” premium edition, that comes with a 5 inch plush of Koromaru from Persona 3, an artbook, four pins representing each of the previous protagonists, and a deck of playing cards.

It’s worth noting that the game may not come with a dub – as IGN reports, “Persona Q2 will feature a Japanese voice track with English subtitles and UI heavily inspired by Persona 5.” While this doesn’t rule it out completely, it would make sense, given the size of the cast and the relatively niche audience.

With Joker heading to Smash too, here’s hoping this is the year for Persona on Nintendo platforms!

Whether it’s an exciting new entry in a series long established or a weird experiment meant only for the dedicated, Tom is eager to report on it. Rest assured, if Nintendo ever announces Elite Beat Agents 2, he’ll be there.
