VLC Media Player recently passed 3 billion downloads, but Jean-Baptiste Kempf, president of VideoLan, doesn’t plan on slowing down anytime soon.

Speaking with Venture Beat, Kempf said he’s thinking about bringing the popular media player to other platforms, including Nintendo Switch.
We’re reminded not to expect VLC on Switch anytime in the near future due to the smaller size of the team — there are less than a dozen people who work on VLC. Still, it’s exciting to think about one of the most versatile media players headed to Nintendo consoles!
