Here’s something that might blow your mind: nobody likes noisy neighbors. It disrupts your home, makes your privacy feel encroached on, and can get in the way of an otherwise good time. That’s why Jovante M. Williams and his friends took to playing Super Smash Bros. on mute, knowing they could get a little loud after a few rounds of fights and drinks. That didn’t stop them from getting complaints, but thankfully that lead to a pretty fun story all around.

After police arrived thanks to the complaint, they determined things were at an acceptable level. Before heading on their way though, they got invited in to give Smash a try themselves. Suddenly the officers had controllers and were learning the ins and outs of Smash, from how to play to just how far-reaching the roster was. This just goes to show that with a little respectful forethought and a good attitude, you can end up having some fun with even the most unexpected guests.
