It’s hard to believe, but there’s just one week to go till we’ll all have our hands on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate! The cross-brand countdown still has some ways to go, though, and this latest stop is one you might not have seen coming.

It’s a new Tetsuya Nomura sketch that highlights one of his earliest character designs and Smash 4’s most surprising DLC fighter – Cloud Strife. Alongside the ex-SOLDIER? Adorable versions of Link, Kirby, and Mario, all in a style highly reminiscent of the acrylic stands designed for Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance.
Of course, that’s not the only countdown today…
