It’s time yet again for another Japanese merchandising event, this time WonHobby Gallery 2018 in Akihabara, Tokyo. As always there are a few figures relating to Nintendo, so let’s take a look.

First up we have a brand new Professor Layton Nendoroid from Good Smile. He’s currently in the prototype stage, so there’s no coloring just yet. We have to wonder if this’ll lead to Luke or Katrielle getting similar figures in the future!

Next there’s a full color version of Beam Kirby. Once again it looks like you’ll be able to move his limbs around with the embedded magnets, and it looks like you’ll be able to let him unleash some flashy Beam effects.

Next we have something from Max Factory and it’s Pyro Jack of Atlus’ Shin Megami Tensei series! With the fifth mainline game set to launch exclusively on Switch, it seems like a good time for Nintendo fans to take notice of this iconic demon.

Finally we have two Pokémon trainers from Kotobukiya – the first is Ethan, the male protagonist of Gen 2 remakes HeartGold/SoulSilver, while the second is a prototype Leaf of FireRed/LeafGreen fame. She’ll also be popping up in Smash in just a few weeks!

We’ll be sure to let you know when these figures are up for pre-order via Twitter.

Whether it’s an exciting new entry in a series long established or a weird experiment meant only for the dedicated, Tom is eager to report on it. Rest assured, if Nintendo ever announces Elite Beat Agents 2, he’ll be there.
