The second sorcerer of the next batch of Dream Friends is in the spotlight for this latest Kirby Star Allies video. From Kirby Triple Deluxe, Taranza has pulled some strings to come down from the sky and become a new playable character for the game that keeps on giving.

While plenty of Dream Friends have pulled elements or techniques from other copy abilities, Taranza is lifting wholesale from under Spider’s hat. He’ll not only be able to web up enemies he comes across, but he’ll also be able to fire off plenty of magic both big and small. It borrows plenty from his debut as an enemy, not in his first appearance but in Team Kirby Clash Deluxe.

Of course, Triple Deluxe needs to get some shoutouts as well. Looks like he’ll be able to summon up the Dreamstalk itself (or at least a mini version of it) to both strike and wall off enemies. He’s even able to call upon the power of Queen Sectonia, his liege and the real threat of Taranza’s debut game. This leaves just a couple more Dream Friends to get shown off before this pack’s release, so be on the lookout for a robo-secretary and a trio of sisters between now and November 30th.
