I’ve gone from putting a little time into NES Online games every now and then to just not booting the feature since it was added to the Switch. Sure, Dr. Mario is addicting as ever and The Legend of Zelda SP was a nice surprise, but with the rate they’re added it’s hard to keep coming back for more consistently. But in a week three more games will join the ranks to try and tempt you to the classic collection once again:

On November 14th the service will add Twinbee, Mighty Bomb Jack, and Metroid for anyone registered with the Switch Online service. While Metroid is a necessary addition in any circle of iconic NES games, it’s vertical shooter Twinbee this time that I’m most excited for. Here’s hoping for another extra surprise like last month, and word on what’s in store for the future after December’s known additions.
