The first ever Splatoween has come and gone, and as squid kids and octos try to recover from stomach aches and lack of sleep the winner has been announced for this holiday event. Even though Team Trick brought along every sneak attack they could it turns out all those pranks were harmless, because Team Treat managed to lick the competition.
 


 
It’s another example of popularity dragging a team all the way down, as Trick held the majority of votes by a decent number. All that sugar must’ve kept their tanks full through the weekend, especially when it came to the Pro category.

Masks off to Splatoon 2 for hosting a much more fully themed Splatfest this time around, we’ll be hoping for more big scale events like this one come December.
