Halloween decorations are already up and stores are well stocked with candy, and that means it’s high time for another set of seasonal characters to come to Fire Emblem Heroes. For its second round of trick or treating, a different quartet of heroes have decided to step up and show off their skills and new looks for the occasion.

From Radiant Dawn and Path of Radiance, Mia arrives as the game’s first flying healer. Just as unique though is her weapon’s ability to reset and stall special attack cooldowns. From Fates: Birthright, Kagero makes a return after taking part in this year’s spring focus, and is the game’s second green and first armored dagger. She’ll also be able to slow down specials, while also carrying the always-desirable Bold Fighter skill.

Fates: Conquest gets a representative on this one as well in the form of Niles. Keeping the pattern going, he’s also armored and will affect cool downs though he’s taking up a blue bow to set himself apart. Last but not least is the cutest scary monster around, The Sacred Stones’ Myrrh. Now a red, armored, dragon she’s wielding a weapon similar to her standard version but comes with the Vengeful Fighter skill and possibly the cutest attack pose in the game now.

Just like last Halloween the amount of new characters types and armor on offer shows a more frightful side of my favorite Nintendo mobile game. They’ll be arriving in game on October 10th and will stick around for a whole month of sweet snagging. Also along for the ride will be a Halloween version of The Blazing Blade’s Dorcas as a Tempest Trial+ reward. No matter how your luck treats you or how much candy you overeat, at least it won’t be as bad as what he’s gone through when it comes to mutton.

When he isn’t writing for Nintendo Wire, Ricky’s anticipating the next Kirby, Fire Emblem, or if the stars ever align, Mother 3 to be released. Till then he’ll have the warm comfort of Super Smash Bros. to keep him going.
