After being announced the other night, the latest ARMS update has arrived with some new features, new balance tweaks, and some new art. The focus seems to be on the game now being compatible with the Switch Mobile App for voice chat. It’s not just with Friends either, as it sounds like you’ll be able to chat with anyone you’re matched up with during Party Matches, Ranked Matches, and Party Crash.

Video Playback on the game’s Dashboard has also been smoothed out, but for those that are all about the fighting there’re a whole host of adjustments for certain ARMS. Best check the full notes on the off chance your punch of choice has been changed at all. No waiting required for this one either, as the update is available right now.
With the Switch Online Service in full effect just remember that you need to be a subscriber to take advantage of online gameplay. We’ll see what that does to the competition, and if ARMS can still bop with the best of ‘em.
