It’s been a long road of brand new maps, returning stages, and Shifty Stations in Splatoon 2, but by the sound of things it’s about to come to an end. After getting an extension to the amount of post release content the game would be getting, we’re down to what’s been announced as the final battleground to be released. Have a look at these new screens:
これは「ムツゴ楼」。
ハイカラスクエア近郊の観光名所で、ここを訪れるとナワバリバトルに勝てるという謂れのあるパワースポットだ。
改装工事の最中だが、その足場や障壁を利用してバトルが行われているらしい。
「ムツゴ楼」は10月初旬の追加を予定しているぞ。 pic.twitter.com/lKMn5durOr— Splatoon(スプラトゥーン) (@SplatoonJP) September 19, 2018
The stage still lacks an English name, but looks to be modeled after a Japanese temple. Resting on the shore, this popular tourist spot is under construction for the time being. That doesn’t mean it can’t still be fought on, as the scaffolding adds to the terrain and gives the place a mix of retro and modern looks. Now where have I heard that one before…
We may not know exactly what to call it currently, but we do know when you can claim this Turf for your own. The stage will come during October along with the next batch of new weapons, new sub weapons, and even new specials.
