If you are a fan of the classic beat ’em up genre then one franchise in particular will be pretty high on your list – Streets of Rage. Lizardcube, Guard Crush Games and Dotemu are teaming up to bring Streets of Rage 4 to life. If Lizardcube sounds familiar that’s because they brought another classic Sega title back recently, with Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap. Like that game, Streets of Rage 4 will include hand-drawn graphics, though it’s seemingly a new experience with former hero Axel sporting a manly beard.

No platforms have been announced yet but given Dotemu’s strong support for Switch so far with Wonder Boy and Windjammers, it seems a likely candidate for some ’90s fueled fisticuffs!
