As if all the game related news and reveals weren’t enough, Nintendo of Europe has now pulled back the curtain on a Limited Edition version of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. While content-wise it’s as simple as the game, a Smash branded GameCube controller, and a GameCube adaptor all in one box — it’s that box itself that’s caught my eye.

Featuring the full cast special artwork for Ultimate, it’s the first time a special edition’s packaging has been the main selling point for me. There’s no word on pricing or if something like this will come to America (or other territories), but if the time comes we’ll be sure to share it so you can get your hands on that beauty on December 7th.

When he isn’t writing for Nintendo Wire, Ricky’s anticipating the next Kirby, Fire Emblem, or if the stars ever align, Mother 3 to be released. Till then he’ll have the warm comfort of Super Smash Bros. to keep him going.
