Much like last year’s Pokémon: I Choose You! the next movie in the long-running franchise is getting a theatrical release in the United States. On November 23rd, 26th, 28th and December 1st you’ll be able to head to select theaters in the region to watch Pokémon: The Power of Us. Ticket sales will be handled by Fathom Events.

Like last year’s movie The Power of Us features an alternate continuity Ash and Pikachu who this time head to a seaside town that celebrates a yearly Wind Festival. A bunch of disparate characters then get pulled together and have to put aside their differences to save the day. Check out the trailer:

The English title of the movie is a clear call-back to the second theatrical Pokémon movie, where the central segment was titled The Power of One. Like the new movie it also featured Lugia in a prominent role.
