Today Nintendo announced initial plans for the new amiibo for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Previously known figures of Ridley and Inkling, as well as the unseen til now Wolf amiibo will be coming out alongside the game on December 7th.
Ridley, Inkling and Wolf are coming to the Super Smash Bros. series of #amiibo! These amiibo will arrive 12/7 and will retail for $15.99.

Most notably, they will be priced at $15.99 a piece instead of the customary $12.99. It also confirms that many Smash Bros. amiibo will be re-released later this year at that original $12.99 price point. No word on figures for Ice Climbers, Snake, or other unrepresented fighters have been shown as is but in the mean time you can look forward to picking these up with your copy of Smash Ultimate.
