In a world of datamines, surprises are harder to come by in games. For Kirby Star Allies this meant knowing about upcoming Dream Friends and who they could be, making Pop Star’s resident artist Adeleine a safe bet. But she’s not coming alone…

Not only is she joined by plenty of painted pals, but her fellow Kirby 64 partner Ribbon is coming along too! That means with the upcoming update the whole Crystal Shards crew will be back together again.

The release date for Adeleine, Daroach, and Dark Meta Knight has been announced as well. All three will be available for free in Kirby Star Allies starting July 27th. Just like the last batch this’ll up the playable characters, offer some tweaks to stages for the new characters based on their games, and hopefully have some other, hidden secrets.
