The Squeak Squad must be on the prowl again, because Daroach has made another appearance on his way to becoming playable in Kirby Star Allies. A quick clip of him in action has revealed a couple small but notable details, and he doesn’t disappoint for those who know the character.

First up is that his disjointed, Raymanian limbs are still present and accounted for. Likewise, he clutches his hat’s brim, much like he did in several of his sprites and artwork, during his dash animation. Lastly, he’s got his Ice Laser attack as a chargeable move, firing across the screen and freezing enemies in its way. While he appears to be doing so with his standard cane, I’m sure the Triple Star wand will make its way into his moveset.
