Bitsummit 2018 has been in full swing all weekend. Celebrating Japanese indie creators and a multitude of games, live interviews have been conducted via the organization’s Twitch channel. During one particular segment that is gaining traction, Atsushi Inaba and Hideki Kamiya from Platinum Games answered a variety of questions. Everything was covered from their personal video game opinions to project budgets, and there was even another ray of hope for those wanting The Wonderful 101 on the Nintendo Switch.

The most significant bombshells came in Mr. Inaba’s closing comments. As paraphrased by ggx2ac on Resetera:

  • PG is working on a bunch of interesting games.
  • One title in particular they think is new and innovative that you’ve never seen before will turn the action genre on its head.
  • A lot of people at PlatinumGames don’t even know about this Top Secret project.

If you want to watch the entire interview, you can view it over on Twitch. Wanting to see Mr. Inaba’s comments yourself? The translated portion of the interview can be found at the 02:58:32 time stamp.

Have any guesses as to what this mysterious project is? Think we’ll get a glimpse at E3, or will Bayonetta 3 get center stage instead?
