Animal Crossing is already known for representing Nintendo in-game. The GameCube release contained several NES titles you could collect and play, and the 3DS’ New Leaf may have made your characters question their own existence as they could own the very systems Animal Crossing was available for. Now it looks like Pocket Camp is getting in on the fun with a very special log-in bonus.

The Nintendo Switch is coming to Animal Crossing before Animal Crossing comes to the Switch. Other than loading up the game, you won’t have to do anything to receive this gift starting tomorrow, April 26th. If you play daily, or want a few other freebies, Leaf Tickets will be given out on the following days to help you spruce up your campsite.

While this doesn’t prove anything about all those Animal Crossing for Switch rumors, this could be an early sign of something to come. Who knows what Isabelle could be planning behind the scenes? In the meantime, Pocket Camp is ready and waiting for you whenever you need it.
