The newest game in the Etrian Odyssey series has just been revealed, and it looks to be a celebration of its five main predecessors. Titled (what’ll presumably be localized as) Etrian Odyssey X, the 3DS game brings back eighteen classes while introducing the new Hero class. Take a look at all of them in the debut trailer below.

The game’s other trademark, its labyrinths, will also be back in full force. With several for players to dive into, it’s shaping up to be the biggest game in the series to date. This extends to its gameplay systems as well, with old combat features returning for the crossover-esque celebration.

For those that like to import or want an idea of what may be coming as a potential pre-order bonus, first print copies will give players special class illustrations. These will come from a variety of artists and will let you change up the look of classes to, potentially, something more to your liking.

While no English has been announced yet, these titles have managed to make their presence in the 3DS library known overseas. That’s why it’s bittersweet to say that this sounds to be the last title in the series for the system. Still, at least it’s going out in a big way when Etrian Odyssey X releases in Japan on August 8th.
