Shortly after debuting on Japanese TV via a new movie trailer, Mythical Pokémon Zeraora has received both a game-based trailer and its own section on the Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon website.

Classified as the Thunderclap Pokémon, Zeraora can control magnetic fields via its paws to both float and fly at the speed of light…ning. That said, it’s unable to generate electricity like most Electric types. It instead gathers it from other sources, though this makes its fur stand on end.

While timing is unknown, all of this does confirm Zeraora as coming to current generation games and not being withheld to a potential eighth. Likely to be released in Japanese movie theaters, we could see it come via an in-store code or online download in other countries.

Look forward to more on this new electrifying species, where you can get it, and what exactly it can do in game in the near future.
