Get ready to wrangle some raptors and get crackin’ on your best Jeff Goldblum impressions because it looks like life in Ark: Survival Evolved found a way on Switch!
The news comes courtesy of Epic Games’ keynote during the Game Developers Conference, which kicked off in San Francisco, California earlier this week. For those not in the know, the epic dinosaur survival game follows in the footsteps of other staple genre juggernauts, like Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds or H1Z1: King of the Kill, only with a prehistoric spin.

The game’s already made the transition to PC and competing consoles, with the Nintendo Switch version confirmed by developer Studio Wildcard to be in the works and ready for release this fall both physically and digitally. At the moment, very little is known about the port other than it’ll contain the same suite of features as both the PS4 and Xbox One versions.
So how ‘bout it? Will you be braving the dino infested jungles of Ark: Survival Evolved when it sets up camp on Switch later this year? Sound off in the comments!
