If you were holding out hope for Hollow Knight getting a release date during today’s Nindies Showcase you’re out of luck, as developer Team Cherry has confirmed via Twitter that the bug-riddled Metroidvania won’t be making an appearance. It’s not all bad news, though, as a progress update on the Switch port will be released later this week. Check out the tweet:

We’ll just have to wait and see what indie games Nintendo does have up its sleeve when the Showcase begins at 12:00 p.m. ET. Be sure to check back for updates as it happens!
