Yes, don’t worry — you read that correctly. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the Sonic the Hedgehog feature film will be boosting at us on November 15, 2019.

The film will be directed by Jeff Fowler, who will be making his directorial debut. Tim Miller, the director of the Deadpool movie, will serve as executive producer.

Fowler previously directed a short film titled Gopher Broke, so if you’re interested in seeing what his directing style might look like, you can check that film out.

According to Paramount, the film will be a made using a mix of live-action and CGI, which for me gives me a sort of “Sonic X” vibe for the film. Maybe Chris Thorndyke will make an appearance…?

Here’s hoping for a good film for the blue blur!
