The last few months have been a Bayonetta frenzie for fans of the franchise. After the announcement of Bayonetta 1, 2, and 3 for the Nintendo Switch at the Video Game Awards in December, we know that this is definitely the year of Bayonetta. With the first two games out now and the third listed with a “to be announced” date, who’s to say there isn’t a fourth game planned?

Hideki Kamiya, one of the original founders and a director at Platinum Games, is already teasing Bayonetta fans about this.

With just a simple tweet, Kamiya’s words state that there’s a concept for a fourth Bayonetta, which has caused fans to celebrate. Granted, the third game isn’t even out yet, but the fact that Platinum Games is already planning for the future is fantastic. The love for Bayonetta is continuing and the games are now more accessible due to the success and user base connected to the Nintendo Switch.
