Making the jump from PS Vita and PlayStation 4, YS VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana will be a summer adventure to remember on the Nintendo Switch.
Playing as the main hero, Adol, you’ll help him on this journey as he awakens on a stranded island. Shipwrecked here, he’s faced with the task of navigating around a supposedly cursed island. Thanks to the assistance of other stranded passengers, a village is soon created; yet, despite the growth of a community, the fear of beasts lingering nearby poses a constant threat that’s impossible to shake for Adol and his people. In addition to all of this, he begins to dream of a mysterious woman on the even more mysterious island.
While the title stands as the eight addition to the series, NIS America recommends that this is a perfect place to jump in with YS. Even better, the Nintendo Switch version will include all the DLC from its previous release on PS4.
YS VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana doesn’t have a solid release date at this time, but you can look forward to the game getting some bonuses: a reversible cover and character cards! Keep an eye on the company’s Twitter page if you have a favorite character you want featured in these bonus goods.
