With filming already in full swing and fans even snagging photos of Ryme City props, Hollywood Reporter and Deadline are reporting new additions to the cast.
British actors Bill Nighy (Davy Jones from Pirates of the Caribbean) and Chris Geere (Professor Arvin Fennerman from Modern Family) have been formally announced as having roles for Detective Pikachu. Beyond that, Legendary Entertainment is keeping mum on who they’ll play within the realm of Ryme City. Police chief and cop? Villain and henchman? We won’t have an idea until Legendary or IMDB slips the public the info. Until then, we may have to rely on breadcrumbs and wild fan theories until Detective Pikachu for the Nintendo 3DS is released on March 23rd.
