This should come as no surprise, given how long it takes to make Zelda games, but in the brand new Master Works book for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, series producer Eiji Aonuma confirmed that the next Zelda game is currently in development. Work on Breath of the Wild started right after Skyward Sword, so this revelation is par for the course.

It will be interesting to see what the next game will do given Breath of the Wild’s massive gameplay changes and even bigger success, but we’ll probably have to wait years to find out.
