Move aside, Cooking Mama — there’s a new chef in town, as a launch trailer for Trinket Studios’ and Adult Swim Games’ new Switch title, Battle Chef Brigade, has dropped. It does a good job of displaying the game’s central conceit: hunting and gathering ingredients in a 2D-action space before combining them in a match-3 cooking battle. It also tells a bit of the story centering around the game’s main character, Mina, told in the usual Adult Swim overdramatic and wacky fashion. Still, the game’s fluid anime style and unique genre mashup are sure to intrigue.
