While Pocket Camp itself may not have a release date just yet, a new addition to the Google Play store is carrying its name and is ready for you to download now. A special Animal Crossing live wallpaper is available for free that’ll make the wait either just a little easier — or that much harder. It sports the Pocket Camp logo on it:
Personally, I’m all for this extra special, moving wallpaper and I hope to see more of them offered for Nintendo properties going forward. Imagine a scrolling lineup of characters from Fire Emblem Heroes or Mario autorunning through an attract mode for Super Mario Run. They wouldn’t even have to represent existing mobile titles, as I’d put out some My Nintendo coins for a Kirby themed wallpaper in a heartbeat.
