Back in January’s Nintendo Switch reveal we got our first glimpse of a Shin Megami Tensei game for the system, developed by Atlus with Unreal Engine 4. Now, thanks to a very brief stream that mostly rounded up the history of the franchise (leaving out the Persona sub-series), we know the game is the fully fledged Shin Megami Tensei V.
While we still don’t know too many details, we get a brief glimpse of a young Japanese boy and girl finding themselves in a desolate, apocalyptic Japan over-run by demons, which is pretty typical for the series.
We’ll be sure to bring more on the game as Atlus shares updates.
