With the release of the highly anticipated Super Mario Odyssey only about a week away, Nintendo is hyping up the game by announcing the official launch party. On Thursday, October 26, the Super Mario Odyssey trailer that has been touring America will arrive at Rockefeller Plaza in New York City, home to the official Nintendo NY store.
The first 200 people in line to buy the game at midnight will get to participate in the festivities, including pictures with Mario and Cappy, demos and special guests, including Broadway star Jordan Fisher and celebrity chef Justin Warner. The press release also mentions “surprises” happening throughout the night. At midnight, those in line will be able to purchase the game at the store.
I can attest from personal experience that every Nintendo NY event draws an absolutely massive crowd, so if you’re in the area and want to participate, be sure to get there bright and early!
