We’ve already had a look at some key art for Japan’s own upcoming sporty Splatfest, but for a more costumed combat we need only turn to Nintendo of America’s Twitter. There we spot Pearl and Marina dressing to impress, representing vampires and werewolves respectively. It’s one of my favorite pieces of official Splatfest artwork so far, with little touches like the squid eyes on the moon really selling it.

You can already pick a side now, with the monster mash beginning on Friday the 13th. I’ve chosen vampires to hopefully take back the night and bleed the competition dry, but who knows what kind of lunacy I’ll have to deal with on the way to spooky supremacy.
