Wanting another reason to buy Retro City Rampage DX? Released on the Nintendo Switch two months ago, you only had the option to buy the game from the eShop. Well, physical copy fans, here’s your chance to get the game in cartridge form.
Advertised on Nintendo’s YouTube channel, Retro City Rampage DX is coming in two varieties: a Collector’s Edition and a Standard Edition. The description on Nintendo’s video upload gives us clear details of what to expect:
“Retro City Rampage DX gets physical on Nintendo Switch with this brand-new Collector’s Edition! Get it directly from http://vblank.com/. Includes the game, manual, soundtrack, keychain, 3D glasses and a reversible cover. Standard Edition also available.”
Both the Collector’s and Standard Editions will go on sale on Monday, October 9th, at 9:00 a.m. PT | 12:00 p.m. ET. Prices, as well as information regarding the specific size print run for the Collector’s Edition, have yet to be announced. We do know, however, that there will be some Retro City Rampage merchandise in the form of button sets the same day the physical copies for Nintendo Switch are released.
