Maybe you’ve heard the Mimikyu rap, gotten down with some Slowpoke reggae or wondered exactly where Magnemite was in its own special song. But nothing could prepare you for the latest official Pokémon-centric musical treat. It’s Ditto’s turn and the cute, childish song with an arts and crafts aesthetic does plenty with the opportunity to lampshade some of the Transform Pokémon’s claims to fame.

First off, having it left at a ranch mimics what plenty of Trainers do the second they catch a Ditto: drop it off at the Day Care and let nature take its course. There’s even a Ditto only battle, with predictable and adorable results. What sells the song, however, are the dancing and unchanging, iconic expression.

This is another prime example of Pokémon giving the world something we never knew we needed and begs the question: who’s next?
