After Monster Hunter Stories launched in Japan last year the game saw months worth of free content added. While the western version has seen a few small items added to its DLC menu, it was only a matter of time for some of the more substantial updates to head on over, and it looks like the game’s Legend of Zelda crossover pack is first in line.

The free DLC will include the Hero’s Clothes, the Master Sword and an Epona monstie. Navirou will also be able to wear the Majora’s Mask, complete with some extra Skull Kid trimmings.

European and North American Monster Hunter Stories fans will be able to download the DLC on September 28th. We’ll just have to wait and see if the other collab DLC for Puzzle & Dragons, Chibi Maruko-chan and Kumamon make it west.

Whether it’s an exciting new entry in a series long established or a weird experiment meant only for the dedicated, Tom is eager to report on it. Rest assured, if Nintendo ever announces Elite Beat Agents 2, he’ll be there.
