The Nintendo Switch Online app for smartphones has been updated, allowing users to chat while using other apps or while the phone is in sleep mode. A welcome change from the previous battery and attention hungry system of needing the app open and the phone awake, it will allow users to not needlessly devote themselves to the chat app and multitask more efficiently.
While these features probably should have been included in the app from the get-go, the addition is more than welcome, and will hopefully pave the way for similar additions and fixes in the future. Stay wired for any future updates to the NSO app.
